HELMUT

. Helmut was an instant hit, becoming a finalist in The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, the Metro/Evening Standard Act of the year and C4's So You Think You're Funny. Marc took Helmut to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004 in his first full length show, Helmut's Half Hour.
'A ream of clever one-liners' Scotsman 'A towering comic intellect' Metro 'A gifted comic and writer.' Edinburgh guide 'Master of the two-liner. Extremely well-written jokes' Chortle
Helmut is a regular Headliner for Geoff Whiting and Christian Knowles, as well as performing at Manchester's Frog and Bucket, the Kings Head, the Brighton Komedia, and at many other venues across the country.
Helmut also performs for corporal functions and conferences. Using information supplied by the clients he offers a bespoke performance that is always guaranteed to split the British sides. Naturlich! Inefficiency, Britain's reluctance to join the EU, European policy gone mad are all grist to his Germanic mill. A hilarious act with dollops of silliness.
Mark Blake will also be appearing on channel 4 in August as part of their Offensive Comedy week.
CHRIS BROWN

Born in Scotland, moved to Spain, then went to Canada but now he’s back…and, whilst Chris may be short in stature, he’s not on gags. After just under 2 years on the circuit, Chris has worked his way steadily through the ranks from the open mic scene, to regularly performing opening 20’s at clubs all over the UK - as well as recently successfully closing his first two headline spots.
Chris has also established himself as a very polished compère and is in his element when having to improvise with the audience around him. His range of accents, characters and observational humour ensures that he can adapt himself to most situations. Chris has also recently performed corporate gigs for for Microsoft and Shell.
“One of the best new acts I’ve seen” Martin Davies

TV Credits
'Joe Pasquale's Funny Farm Cheerios Advert Voted 'Best New Comedian' On ITV, The Frank Skinner Show First Impressions-Avalon Booked to impersonate Michael Caine at corporate events for companies such as Microsoft, Saatchi & Saatchi, Asda etc.
"On came Drew Cameron - original, madcap, with a good script and a natural talent for ludicrous impression hybrids. David Beckham as the Clash doing Should 1 Stay or Should 1 Go was a corker, as was his opener, Ozzy Osbourne as Chubby Checker. Proof indeed that quality, well thought-out routines can still get a crowd going." The Stage March 2004
