ISZI LAWRENCE

Iszi Lawrence, as seen in the Perrier Award winning The Passion Of The Hodgson, is an 'upbeat' comedian 'with nicely improvised material' which sits well within her intelligent, witty and fun loving set.

She weaves wordplay into a surreal and infectiously joyous world that audiences love to explore.

At the tender age of 20, she has MC'd regularly at clubs throughout Bristol, as well as performing in venues across the country, including Swansea's Grand Theatre, The Wharf in Cardiff, Jesters in Bristol, The Amused Moose and Laughing Horses across London, the Ship of Fools in Leicester and headlining in Edinburgh and Belgium.

Iszi is a seasoned performer, having appeared on stage at the Fringe since she was 18, in critically acclaimed shows Skitzaphrantic, Spinning Jenny and, of course, The Passion Of The Hodgson.

Writing credits include, sketches for the Milkrun - Oneclick Comedy, BBC Radio 1. Also sketches for Clifton Sketch Comedy and Skitzaphrantic. Plus she once won 'best script' award from Bella the Tweenie (the blue one).

"A rare breed - the decent female comedian. Upbeat with nicely improvised material." - edinburghguide.com

DAMION LARKIN

Citylife Comedian of The Year Runner Up 2007

Comedy genius is an over used term and Damion Larkin is not a comedy genius. However, he really is very good indeed. Excellent as an opener or support act, he is also growing in reputation as a crowd-rousing compere. He will improvise his entire set, often to hilarious effect.
This former stockbroker quit his lucrative professional in August 2004 to live the dream and has never looked back. He went full time in 2005 and is now destitute, relying on state handouts and begging.
There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more.

"Fantastic part of his set where he went through a woman's handbag!" - Random Audience Member

Industrious in rotating his material…which is warmly and intelligently told” - Steve Bennett, Chortle

"One of the country’s top new acts”BBC

ROB HITCHMOUGH

"…an infectious energy and a joy to watch." The Evening Standard.

Rob Hitchmough has been an established comedian and after dinner speaker for fourteen years, with a mixture of boyish charm and biting wit he never fails to deliver. As well as being a talented improviser and accomplished writer he is extremely funny.

He has been the resident compere at the Aztec Club since 1990 and has played just about every major venue in every city in the UK. and Ireland.

When he is not performing Rob is a very sought after comedy teacher. He is a senior tutor at The Actors Centre (a drama school for professional actors,) and teaches improvisation and drama at Sylvia Young Theatre School. He has also taught at countless corporate events and at several regional theatres, including The Theatre Royal Bath. He has also been featured on 'Stand up with Alan Davies,' 'Esther' and 'Breakfast News'.

Though he always prefers the friendlier comedy clubs he can more than hold his own at the tougher venues. "After a fight involving several inmates during one of my classes at Wandsworth Prison lively audiences aren't ever a problem."

"…an infectious energy and a joy to watch." The Evening standard.
"Very funny and imaginative" Time Out.
