                                              HELMUT

                              Stand Up Comedian, Writer

Marc Blake created '
Germany's finest comedian' in early 2003 and in that year played over 130 'open spots' around the country. Helmut was an instant hit, becoming a finalist in The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, the Metro/Evening Standard Act of the year and C4's So You Think You're Funny. Marc took Helmut to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004 in his first full length show, Helmut's Half Hour.

'A ream of clever one-liners' Scotsman
'A towering comic intellect' Metro
'A gifted comic and writer.'
Edinburgh guide
'Master of the two-liner. Extremely well-written jokes' Chortle

Helmut is a regular Headliner for Geoff Whiting and Christian Knowles, as well as performing at Manchester's Frog and Bucket, the Kings Head, the Brighton Komedia, and at many other venues across the country.

Helmut also performs for corporal functions and conferences. Using information supplied by the clients he offers a bespoke performance that is always guaranteed to split the British sides. Naturlich! Inefficiency, Britain's reluctance to join the EU, European policy gone mad are all grist to his Germanic mill. A hilarious act with dollops of silliness.

Mark Blake will also be appearing on channel 4 in August as part of their Offensive Comedy week.

                                     MICHEAL FABBRI

                                   Stand Up Comedian

Michael Fabbri began performing stand-up regularly over 3 years ago, establishing himself in various clubs around London. Early on he reached the final stages of some of the major completions including the BBC New comedy Awards and a place in the final of 'So You think Your Funny' in 2003. After a few months he gained the attention of a number of promoters and now performs regularly in clubs and universities across the UK.
He mixes some quite off the wall, original routines about homicidal school fetes or door-to-door atheists with more familiar comic territory about reality TV or the Royal family. Some of the material is a little on dark side but it always remains accessible.

'His future is Bright' - Chortle

                                       PAUL REDWOOD

                       Stand Up Comedian, Specialist MC

Armed with a sense of fun he also launched himself upon the world of comedy, albeit in a slow laidback way. At first things were tough, gigs were sparse, his hair already thinning. Paul soon realised that the best way of doing it, was doing it yourself. And The Rib Tickla Comedy Club was born.

He has been gigging now for over 6 years, and now has a style and presence that is unique. His use of props is fast becoming legendary.

He is both inventive and enthusiastic, traits that bring surprises and laughs galore.
Confident as a compere or set comedian, the audience always enters into his world, whereupon he will offer advice, and his view of life to great effect.

Live Work

A regular performing for Mirth Control & GSOH is currently doing regular support slots for The Comedy Store. Paul has also performed for Off The Kerb, Jesterlaugh, Jesters, Purple Cactus and other independents.
