Helmut was an instant hit, becoming a finalist in The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, the Metro/Evening Standard Act of the year and C4's So You Think You're Funny, took Helmut to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004 in his first full length show, Helmut's Half Hour.

Helmut also performs for corporal functions and conferences. Using information supplied by the clients he offers a bespoke performance that is always guaranteed to split the British sides. Naturlich! Helmut also appeared on channel 4 in August as part of their Offensive Comedy week.
