Half Canadian, half Trinidadian, Tony has been busy working hard on the circuit and creating a buzz for himself as one of the most exciting new comedy propositions around.

Tony has performed in New York, Aspen, South Africa, Ireland, The Netherlands and in his native Canada. He is a regular face at the UK’s biggest comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and Jongleurs.

Along with Dan Antopolski and Craig Campbell, Tony created The Dinks, the acclaimed comedy troupe, which excited both Fringe audiences and critics alike with their inimitable style of slapstick and banter.

STEVE BEST

Steve has blasted onto the comedy scene and is a regular on the nationwide comedy circuit. As a headline act, Steve has gone on to perform all over the world including Hong Kong, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Greece, Ireland and Italy's celebrated 'Festival of the Absurd'.

His UK profile has been hugely boosted by supporting some major tours, including FRANK SKINNER and CRAIG CHARLES. He has headlined an extensive university tour and took his own show to Edinburgh to massive critical acclaim.

Steve is starting to make an impression on television, and has starred in C5's 'The Big Stage' and BBC1's 'The Stand Up Show'. He has just finished doing the warm up for the BADDIEL & SKINNER "Unplanned" live TV show and a month with them at the Shaftsbury Theatre in the West End. Steve is looking to take his unique brand of comedy to the small and the BIG screen, as well as building his popularity on the live circuit.

"In a class of his own" The Times

"Rip-roaringly funny. See him!" The Guardian

"An unholy cross between Steve Martin, in his early days, Lee Evans and Fozzie Bear" Sunday Times

"One of the most original and inventive comics on the circuit. Steve Best's act defies description. One of the great clowns of our time" Newcastle Comedy Festival

Steve has been described as reliable, hard-working, charming, popular , consistent, handsome, eager, skilful, silly, crazy, immature, gifted, flamboyant, a genius, talented, modest and big headed.

GARY DELANEY

'razor sharp one-liners' Daily Telegraph
'verges on the genius' Chortle
'the man Jimmy Carr tries to be' BBC Online

Gary Delaney is a razor sharp one-liner comedian, who is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic on the circuit. But the high quantity of stand out gags leaves the audience struggling to remember them all.

Gary regularly plays all the big clubs including The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Komedia, Glee, Rawhide, The Frog and Bucket, Hyena, Baby Blue, The Stand, Comedy Café, Lee Hurst's Backyard, Banana Cabaret and at clubs throughout the UK.

Gary co-writes Ivan Brackenbury's Hospital Radio Roadshow which was nominated for the If.Comedy award in 2007. Gary will soon be appearing on Paramount's 'Comedy Blue'.

HELMUT

Helmut was an instant hit, becoming a finalist in The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, the Metro/Evening Standard Act of the year and C4's So You Think You're Funny. Marc took Helmut to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004 in his first full length show, Helmut's Half Hour.

'A ream of clever one-liners' Scotsman
'A towering comic intellect' Metro
'A gifted comic and writer.'
Edinburgh guide
'Master of the two-liner. Extremely well-written jokes' Chortle

Helmut is a regular Headliner for Geoff Whiting and Christian Knowles, as well as performing at Manchester's Frog and Bucket, the Kings Head, the Brighton Komedia, and at many other venues across the country.

Helmut also performs for corporal functions and conferences. Using information supplied by the clients he offers a bespoke performance that is always guaranteed to split the British sides. Naturlich! Inefficiency, Britain's reluctance to join the EU, European policy gone mad are all grist to his Germanic mill. A hilarious act with dollops of silliness.

Mark Blake will also be appearing on channel 4 in August as part of their Offensive Comedy week.

SCOTT CAPURRO

"enthralling... electric ... deliciously catty" (Guardian)

"breathtaking... incandescently witty" (Scotsman)

Camp and outrageous, provocative and controversial, catty and hysterical, Scott Capurro is a breath of fresh air in the increasingly samey and stale world of stand-up.

Constantly operating on the boundaries of good taste and often straying some way over the line Scott is a challenging comedian in the best sense of the word. He is so comfortable dealing with topics that other comics would never touch that he forces audiences to ask themselves why they should feel so uncomfortable about some of his subject matter. Yet despite this approach or perhaps even because of it Scott has established himself as one of the most popular faces in the UK comedy circuit.

Since his award-winning solo debut at the 1994 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Capurro has become a regular Fringe favourite. Constantly seeking to challenge himself as well as his audience, he has since returned with several solo Fringe shows and experimented with a variety of forms and styles, including his dark 1998 one-man play, Brian Souffle, and his infamous 2001 collaboration with John Cardone, Fucking Our Fathers.

Following his Fringe successes, Scott has taken his shows to the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, the Sydney Mardi Gras and has toured throughout Australia and the UK. Treading new ground yet again, Scott published his first novel, Fowl Play in September 1999, following his highly successful Edinburgh show of the same name.

Scott is a veteran of our TV screens - he has appeared on such shows as BBC1's The Stand-Up Show, hosted Is That It? for MAI United, and captained a team on the Channel 4 quiz The Staying In Show. A diverse performer, Scott's talents were also incorporated into Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace!

MARY BOURKE

She was the winner of the Irish World comedian of the year award in 1999.

She was also finalist in the Hackney Empire and BBC New Act of the Year competitions. She has performed in Australia and the United States.

"Mary Bourke is one of the best new standups I have seen recently. Strong technically and impressive in dealing with a big audience." - The Stage

"Sharp older sister advice" - Leicester Mercury

"A very funny woman" - The Irish World

MARC LUCERO

"a laugh a minute" The Times

"the brilliant Marc Lucero" Daily Mirror

"brilliantly inventive gags, comic master" Chortle

"persuasively funny, a damn fine evening" Evening Standard

"really funny... the audience had a great night out" BBC Radio London

"sharp and funny... plenty of laughs " The Scotsman

STEPHEN GRANT

According to Time Out (2004), “Stephen Grant is... Britain’s best comedy compere and odd-job man.” And it's not hard to see why. A cult figure at the triple award winning Chortle best comedy venue ‘Komedia’, where he plays host to over 900 people every weekend in Brighton, his live work as a headliner and compere can be seen in all the top UK venues. In August 1998 he made his Edinburgh debut at the Pleasance theatre, where he was the main subject of the 6 part TV series Edinburgh or Bust. In 2003 he returned with “Route 1”, an immediate critical five star success, which was followed in 2004 by another sold-out show, largely on the back of his notable performances at the notorious Late ‘n’ Live show.

A large proportion of Stephen’s work in TV and radio. He was the main comedy writer for Radio 1’s daytime programming from 1999 to 2003 and has written for everyone there from Zoe Ball to John Peel.
