HELMUT

Germany's finest comedian' Helmut was an instant hit, becoming a finalist in The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, the Metro/Evening Standard Act of the year and C4's So You Think You're Funny. Helmut also appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004 in his first full length show, Helmut's Half Hour.

'A ream of clever one-liners' Scotsman
'A towering comic intellect' Metro
'A gifted comic and writer.'
Edinburgh guide
'Master of the two-liner. Extremely well-written jokes' Chortle

Helmut is a regular Headliner for clubs across the U.K. and others and is a veteran of many festivals both in the U.K. and overseas, as well as performing at Manchester's Frog and Bucket, the Kings Head, the Brighton Komedia, and at many other venues across the country.

Helmut also performs for corporal functions and conferences. Using information supplied by the clients he offers a bespoke performance that is always guaranteed to split the British sides. Naturlich! Inefficiency, Britain's reluctance to join the EU, European policy gone mad are all grist to his Germanic mill. A hilarious act with dollops of silliness.

Helmut also has many tv credits to his name including appearing on channel 4 in August as part of their Offensive Comedy week.

MC:JIM GRANT

ver the years Jim has been a professional comedian he has seen and compered every conceivable audience. These range from the east end of London, to northern working men’s clubs, and black tie formal dinners. He has even performed a gig on a metal platform, suspended above a shark tank when he compered the Brighton Fringe Festival opening gala in 2005. It is this MC experience, combined with a warm and friendly persona, innovative material that helps make Jim such a bookable act both for live work and TV
