Quotes
“Imran Yusuf’s show is an hour of cheek and charm that takes us briskly through the Asian comic’s early life, through to his life in Britain as a Muslim.”
Review by Julian Hall, August 27, 2010
Independent
BBC News Scotland
“Imran Yusuf must be the hardest-working comedian in Edinburgh.”
STEVE HEWLETT
Steve Hewlett (Britain’s Got Talent Final 2013)
“Ventriloquism could feel old fashioned but when you have someone as brilliant as Steve Hewlett whose got a whole new approach to it, it can really work. He’s a very witty guy and clever writer, he wrote great material and i really fought for him to be the Wildcard which gave him a place in the Britain’s Got Talent Final. Steve was just one of those real magic acts of that final.”

Paul Pirie began his stand-up career after giving up acting to pursue
the funny man that lies within, quickly establishing himself on the
Scottish comedy circuit as long ago as 2004. It should be pointed out
that at the time he was living with his Gran, having given away the
keys to his flat in a pub quiz. Since this time Paul’s career has
encompassed TV, Film and Radio alongside his burgeoning skill as a
stand-up with Paul emerging as one of the biggest Scottish acts on the
UK comedy circuit.
Paul has since had a consecutive succession of sell out shows at The
Glasgow Comedy Festival and joined esteemed popular comedy-improv
group Dance Monkey Boy, Dance! (also featuring Raymond Mearns), and
has helped with the development of the group. In 2006 ‘The Boys’
caught the attention of BBC Radio who recorded the show at the Glasgow
Comedy Festival and since then, Dance Monkey Boy, Dance! have gone on
to work under the watchful eye of the BBC to develop regular radio
shows.
